Medical-surgical nursing is a nursing care of adult patients whose conditions or disorders are diagnosed, treated medically, surgically or pharmacologically. The medical-surgical nurse is skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating actual or potential alterations in functional ability and lifestyle
